Type A Notice of School Board Election
An election is to be held in the Green Lake School District on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The following officers are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed below.

Filing Candidacy Papers
A Campaign Registration Statement and a Declaration of Candidacy must be filed no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the Green Lake School Main Office at 612 Mill Street, Green Lake WI 54941.

General Information:
A board member must be an eligible elector of the school district at the time of filing. According to the Wisconsin Elections Commission, in order to qualify for placement on the ballot as a candidate in a school board election, a person must be:
A citizen of the United States;
18 years of age or older; and
A resident of the school district for at least 28 consecutive days at the time of filing a declaration of candidacy.
Information for Candidates
Candidate packets are available for pick up at the main office at 612 Mill Street, Green Lake. Questions should be directed to Karen Sondalle, email or by calling (920) 924-6411. Electors who are interested in being a candidate for School Board at the 2026 Spring Election will need to file the documents listed below at the main office before the filing deadline - January 6, 2026 at 5:00pm.
Election Forms and Other Resources:
The forms prescribed by the Wisconsin Ethics Commission for the making of reports and statements under the campaign finance laws are available on the commission's website (https://ethics.wi.gov/Pages/Resources/ResourcesOverview.aspx). The School District Clerk will make copies of such forms and certain manuals prescribed by the Ethics Commission available to candidate committees at no charge upon request.
