7-12 English & Social Studies Email Phone: ext. 1406 Mr. Hintz joined the faculty of Green Lake as an English instructor in 2007. He earned a B.A. degree, with honors, from Ripon College in English and Economics in 1982. After college, Mr. Hintz earned his law degree from St. Louis University School of Law, graduating with a J.D., with honors, in 1985.
After serving as a Law Clerk to Chief Judge Donald J. Porter of the United States District Court for the District of South Dakota, Mr. Hintz was an active trial attorney in Minneapolis for seventeen years before training to become an English and Social Studies teacher. He is certified to teach English, Economics and Broad Field Social Studies.
Mr. Hintz currently teaches IB English 7, IB English 9, English 11, Writing for Publication, IB Economics and IB Theory of Knowledge. He is faculty advisor for the school newspaper and yearbook, and faculty advisor for the National Honor Society.
He currently is a member of the Plan Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals and the Historic Preservation Commission of the City of Ripon. He has been an adjunct professor of Social Studies' Teaching Methods at Ripon College.
