Ever since I can remember I have always wanted to be an art teacher.  Growing up in Ripon, my first introduction to art was with Mr. Frank.  After the first day I walked out of his classroom I was forever changed. Continuing my education, I had a close relationship with all of my art teachers (Mrs. Kelch, Mr. Mucks, Mrs. Klapperich, and Mrs. Platte), all of them making their marks on me in different ways.  So when the question came up "What are you going to do with your life?", there was no pause to my answer.                   

     I graduated from Ripon High School in 2000, attended UW-Oshkosh for three years, and then finished up at East Carolina University, in North Carolina.  I graduated in 2005 with a BFA in Art Education.  After being a stay at home mom for a year, we moved back to Wisconsin.  When I was offered a chance to teach in the town which holds many special moments through out my life, I jumped at it! As a parent, I witness a very special environment here...an environment I have chosen to bring my son into too.
